H - A - DOUBLE L - O - W - DOUBLE E - N spells HALLOWEEN! I thought I'd swing back around and show everyone what I've been working on. Things are coming along nicely and the costumes look wicked cool. Get it? Wicked... cool...

The costumes in the photos are for the upcoming HighBall Halloween event in Columbus the 26th - 28th (click for tickets). I've also thrown in photos of my design sketches. I think it's a blast to see an idea brought to life! It's time to trust my instincts, close my eyes: and sew!

In November, Stivers School for the Arts theatre department will raise the curtain on CLUE: ON STAGE! (Yes THAT Clue! You know, the classic Hasbro board game turned Tim Curry comedy film in the 80's!) I'm excited to tell you that I'll be the costumer for their production!

In case you don't know much about Stivers, they

offer programs in the arts, as well as a traditional academic education. It's a 6 year commitment starting in the 7th grade. Stivers is a prime example of how the arts can enhance children academically!

Everybody scream in this town of Halloween!

Sure. It's only October 2nd, but things have been in full-halloween-swing here at www.Act2Costumes.com for some time now! We're gearing up for all the ghouls and goblins, but we're also helping others gear up for Dayton's biggest Halloween party of the year, Equitas Health's MASQUERAGE! I'm in the throws of building three hand-made creations for Masquerage, plus I'm happily working on a couple of costumes for HighBall Halloween in Columbus!
